Eta, maiden Fröhlich (Čepin, Osijek, 1870 – ?)<br />

- The housewife, mother of <strong>Dr</strong> <strong>Dr</strong>agutin Ornstein.<br />

Up to June12th 1942 had permanent residence in 51 <strong>Dr</strong> Ante Starčevića St. 1833<br />

<strong>Dr</strong>agutin–Karlo <strong>Dr</strong> (Osijek, 8.10.1894 – ?)<br />

- The son of Emanuel Emil Ornstein and Etelka Eta, maiden Fröhlich.<br />

In 1912 he finished the Velika Gymnasium in Osijek, and in 1921 Medical Faculty in<br />

Germany. In 1926 he married to Elvira Eta Grossmann, the daughter of Albert and Tereza,<br />

maiden Kőnig.<br />

As of August 7th 1929 to April 28th 1941 he worked as the Doctor in the County<br />

Office for Insurance of Workers in Osijek. Upon the Decision of the Minister of Health in the<br />

NDH Government, Z. Number 30.187/41 as of August 19 th 1941 was sent to the Institute for<br />

Control of Endemic Syphilis in Banja Luka, where he worked as part time employee and also<br />

as the Doctor under the Contract.<br />

On numerical identification card for legal religion converts of the Catholic Parish<br />

Office Banja Luka was stated: born on October 8th 1894 in Osijek, Jewish religion, married,<br />

had daughter, the Doctor. Together with his family converted to Catholicism on October 18 th<br />

1941 in the Catholic Church of Banja Luka Parish. 1834<br />

Up to June 12th 1942 had permanent residence in 51 <strong>Dr</strong> Ante Starčevića St. 1835<br />

Missing as of September 19th 1944 during Partisan’s attack on Banja Luka. 1836<br />

Elvira, maiden Grosmann (Osijek, 1906 – ?)<br />

- The daughter of Albert Grossmann and Tereza, maiden Kőnig and the wife of <strong>Dr</strong><br />

<strong>Dr</strong>agutin Ornstein, the housewife.<br />

Up to June 12th 1942 had permanent residence in 51 <strong>Dr</strong> Ante Starčevića St. 1837<br />

Milica, called Mila (Osijek, 24.6.1928 – ?)<br />

- Student, Daughter of <strong>Dr</strong> <strong>Dr</strong>agutin Ornstein and Elvira, maiden Grosmann.<br />

Up to12th 1942 had permanent residence in 51 <strong>Dr</strong> Ante Starčevića St. 1838<br />

On October 18th 1941 she was baptised in Roman Catholic Parish in Banja Luka. 1839<br />

Together with Salomon Poljokan was an authorised clerk of the Bank for Craft and<br />

Trade in Banjaluka, as of its foundation in 1911. 1840<br />
