In the Application the deprivation of life or missing persons, submitted in Banjaluka<br />

on September 19, 1945 by Rahelina Atijas maiden Poljokan, aunt of the late, housewife from<br />

Banjaluka; it was stated (Column A) that Ašer Poljokan, age 45, the Tradesman resided in<br />

Banjaluka, the Jew, was a civilian murdered during the German occupation in the<br />

concentration camp in 1942.<br />

Isak (Banjaluka, 30.7.1911 – the Jasenovac concentration camp, 1941)<br />

- Son of Rafael, the Tradesman from Banjaluka (Fra Grge Martića Street No. 29), the<br />

Jew.<br />

In 1922, he finished the First Public Primary School for Boys in Banjaluka. 2117<br />

- Son of Salomon, married to Gracija maiden Levi, the Bosnian Jew.<br />

On April 15, 1903 he registered the agency and commission store Avram S. Poljokan.<br />

On March 27, 1905 Moisie A. Poljokan was named for the manager of the Firm. The Store<br />

was deleted on April 4, 1913 and the Firm became a Stock Company whose owners were<br />

Avram S. Poljokan and Moisie A. Poljokan. The Company carried out shipping, banking and<br />

commission businesses. The owners left the Company on November 21, 1919. 2119<br />

Avram S. Poljokan, the Bosnian Jew, registered an exchange business and banking.<br />

During 1907 he paid 20.000 krunas for the tax. 2120<br />

He was one of the founders of the Bank for Trade and Crafts, stock company (d.d.)<br />

Banjaluka and the member of the Steering Committee and the Head Administration. 2121<br />
