Get Acquainted, Engaged, and Motivated!<br />
You are here in Orlando! Where will you go? What will you do? Most<br />
importantly, who will you hang out with? Come to the orientation to meet your<br />
fellow youth, youth engagement specialists, and adult partners who will be<br />
available to support you during the <strong>Institutes</strong>. It is also time to learn about all of<br />
the workshops and special events available to you over the next four days.<br />
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM SPECIAL PRESENTATION: The Trevor Project—Innovations in<br />
Youth Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention<br />
Start your <strong>Training</strong> <strong>Institutes</strong> experience by attending a special presentation by<br />
the Trevor Project. The panel will describe the project’s innovative approaches<br />
to crisis intervention and suicide prevention, education, and support <strong>for</strong> youth<br />
with a special focus on gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning<br />
youth. They will also demonstrate their pioneering use of digital approaches to<br />
service delivery.<br />
