this didn't answer any questions but anyway. Bjørn. Re question re de
pre codewurx. Thanks your responses and references are helpful. I get a
general picture. of code as 'rooted' and double of anyway having a
double property of ..well. the usual dichotomies instruction and data
subject and object and which. aren't fundamental eg. the distinction
between instruction and data is an. interpretation what is interpreted as
instruction is also data and the. data can also be instruction so in a way
the interpretation is. fundamental to code also and creating the roles of
the dichotomy as we. would have 'instructiondata' and 'datainstruction'
and somewhat the same. in the case of subject and object which are
more explicitly. interpretations of something by terming something a
subject we've already. interpreted it in a relational way and in the same
manner as. instructiondata I'm refering to code as an subjectobject
entity which has. these three parts of data instruction and interpretation.
The. interpretation part would be the decode.. About the
everythingnothing bold statements since the code is something.
constituting itself it's a whole an entity and real in the sense that. it's
taking place with the interpretation constituting the reality. 'situation'
of instructiondata subjectobject so I'm calling it an. everything like we
could create an universal machine out of this. And then. also I'm
calling it names like nothing because it's a machine more or. less.
Maybe it would be interesting to look at everythingandnothing text. as a
kind of codework. Finnegan's Wake as an example of this it's coded in.
several layers encapsulating or opening to an everything and nothing it.
has the appearance of code and nonsense a rich broken structure of.
everything. Occult literature I guess also has the code effect of this. of
being poured out dumped automated and coded the automatic writing
of. surrealists might be considered I don't know are fluxus pieces
codeworks. by being instructions (of events) and the happening would
be another more. undirected setup for something to happen well I'm not
sure how to. distinguish the code it seems allembracive. Is it alive Dead
code. And. the system bit if we don't know if something is code is it
code by just. that fact like the Voynich manuscript mentioned And
there's a notion. that code is code as long as it's not decoded if code is
code what do we. mean by a decode Sort(x) is a code does it have a
decode So maybe a. romantic code is the codedecode that kind of code
notion there we have. in a way again instruction and data subject and
object clearly. separated like morse code a clear mapping between
subject and object. back and forth whatever there's the subject of code
and the objectcode. and the morse code we could call the subjectobject
