Hoạt động 2: Reading skill (20 - 23 minutes)<br />

a. Guess the meaning of the words from the context.<br />

– Now open your books and read Khang’s blog.<br />

– First, scan the passage, underline or highlight these words, then guess their meaning.<br />

the city)<br />

+ Is it the countryside? (No, it isn’t)<br />

+ Why? (Because we cannot say ‘the countryside of<br />

a city’)<br />

+ So what does it mean? (It means an area which is<br />

away from the centre of a town or a city – ngoại ô,<br />

ngoại thành)<br />

incredibly (adv) = extremely, very<br />

beach (n) = an area of sand at the edge of the sea<br />
