I. Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students can:
• use the lexical items related to the topic ‘things
in nature’ and ‘travel items’
• listen to get information about travel plans
• read a brochure for tourist information
• write a travel guide entry about an interesting
place
II. Procedures: Các bước tiến hành
Hoạt động 1: Warm-up (3 to 5 minutes)
Chơi trò chơi ‘Who is faster?’
Lớp chia thành hai đội.
GV dán lên bảng bản đồ Việt Nam cùng với 6 tấm
cards 6 địa danh ở Việt Nam. Mỗi đội cử 6 thành
viên lên dán đúng vị trí địa lý của các địa danh đó
lên bản đồ.
Đội nào đúng và nhanh hơn, đội đó thắng cuộc.
Sau phần chơi, GV cũng có thể hỏi HS những câu
hỏi xoay quanh các địa danh đó.
Lời dẫn:
– We have recently learnt a lot about Travel topic.
Now, let’s see how well you know about geography
in Viet Nam.
– I have here a map of Viet Nam and 6 pictures of
6 places. Please stick each picture on the correct
geographical position on the map. (Ha Long Bay,
Mui Ne, Nha Trang, Hue, Ca Mau, Da Nang)
– Each person sticks one picture only.
– Who sticks correctly and faster is the winner.
