Can you tell me the features of a postcard?
Yes, correct a postcard often has two parts: one is the
picture of the place where they are and the second
one is the space for the writer to write to the receiver.
Now, I would like you to look at this postcard and
answer the questions in pairs.
Small interview

- What do you usually send to your family and
friends when you are away on a holiday?
- Can you tell me the reasons why?
Hoạt động 2: Comprehension Reading
(20 minutes)
Activity 1:
- Explain the features of postcards with Ss.
- Have Ss see the postcard and try to answer the
questions.
- Tell Ss to work in pairs to discuss the answer.
- Give the meaning of the words, explanations
and examples (Vietnamese equivalent).
Activity 2: Ss work individually
- Have Ss look at the questions first. Ask them to underline the key words in the questions.
- Have Ss read the postcard and find the suitable information to answer the questions (individually).
- Ask Ss to compare their answers before discussing them as a class. T also asks Ss to give evidence.
