ดอยแม่สลองเป็นที่ตั้งของชุมชนชาวจีนและไร่ชา<br />
ชื่อดัง ที่นี่ได้ฉายาว่า ‘สวิตเซอร์แลนด์น้อย’ เนื่องจาก<br />
เมื่อช่วงปลายฝนต้นหนาว หมอกจะลงปกคลุมทั่ว<br />
ดอยทั่วไปหมด ต้นชาอู่หลงที่ปลูกในบริเวณนี้ขึ้นชื่อ<br />
เรื่องคุณภาพ และเก็บโดยลูกหลานของผู้อพยพชาว<br />
จีนที่มาตั้งรกรากที่นี่หลังจากหนีออกมาจากจีนในยุค<br />
สงครามกลางเมือง<br />
ส่วนดอยตุงนั้นเป็นที่ตั้งของพระตำาหนักดอยตุง<br />
และสวนแม่ฟ้าหลวง พระตำาหนักดอยตุงเป็นพระ<br />
ตำาหนักของสมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี<br />
โดยตัวอาคารเป็นสถาปัตยกรรมสไตล์ล้านนา-สวิส<br />
ที่สร้างจากไม้สักที่เหลือใช้ พระตำาหนักนี้เริ่มก่อสร้าง<br />
ตั้งแต่วันที่ 26 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2530 ใกล้ๆกับพระ<br />
ตำาหนักเป็นที่ตั้งของสวนแม่ฟ้าหลวง สวนที่มีภูมิทัศน์<br />
งามตามากที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งในประเทศไทย ปัจจุบัน<br />
พระตำาหนักดอยตุงเปิดให้เข้าชมทุกวันตั้งแต่เวลา<br />
7.00-17.00 น. ส่วนสวนนั้นเปิดให้เข้าชมระหว่าง<br />
เวลา 7.00 - 18.00 น.<br />
Doi Mae Salong is home to a Chinese<br />
community and famous tea plantation. The area<br />
is referred to as “Little Switzerland”. It’s easy to<br />
see why, especially during the rainy-to-winter<br />
seasons where fog masks the hillside. The<br />
High Mountain Oolong is of great quality, and<br />
are cultivated by descendants of migrants who<br />
settled here after the Chinese Civil War.<br />
Doi Tung houses the Doi Tung Royal Villa<br />
and the Mae Fah Luang Garden. The Royal<br />
Villa was the residence of Her Royal Highness<br />
Princess Srinagarindra, built in the Lanna-<br />
Swiss architectural style and humbly made<br />
from discarded teak. Construction began on<br />
December 26, 1987. Next to the villa is the 10-<br />
acre Mae Fah Luang Garden. The Royal Villa<br />
is open every day from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.<br />
and the garden from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.<br />
