Meet our students
Callum Foster
Jade Wilkinson, Sector Lead for Motor Vehicle and
Engineering, has 16 years of experience working in a variety
of industry settings. After school, Jade completed IMI Level
1 and Level 2 in Motor Vehicle, as well as working for a
company who specialised in rotary engines and enhancing
the performance of all engines. Jade also went on to
complete a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Fabrication
and Welding, further developing her skills and knowledge.
Jade enjoys sharing her vast industry experience with the
students she teaches, helping them prepare for a successful
future career.
Level 1 Motor Vehicle student Callum, former student of
Weaverham High School, immediately impressed his tutors
and managed to secure an apprenticeship within months of
starting at college.
Callum instantly felt welcome at the college, describing the
tutors as “really friendly and helpful.” He says one of the
best parts at studying at the college is: “making new friends
and meeting people from different walks of life.”
Callum is completing his apprenticeship with G&B Motor
Engineers Ltd, an auto repair shop in Wincham, Northwich.
He says he has learned a great deal of new skills from his
employer and has always felt well supported.
