Lydia
Crawshaw
Ellie Strowger, our subject leader for graphics and media,
has been teaching on the graphic design courses at the
college for the past five years. Ellie has experience working
on a wide range of commercial graphic design projects for
various clients across the UK, from branding and corporate
identity to packaging design. Ellie continues to take on
freelance design work alongside her teaching, ensuring she
is up-to-date with the latest design trends and software.
Ellie loves teaching at the college and sharing her passion
for graphic design. With her industry knowledge and
experience, Ellie guides her students through the design
process and shares the fundamental skills needed within the
creative industries.
Lydia Crawshaw has successfully completed her level 3
course and will be progressing onto the college’s HNC in
Graphic Design.
Lydia has enjoyed developing her skills through projects she
has completed. Lydia said: “I am able to work in different
parts of graphic design, which helped me in learning what my
strongest area is.”
Lydia says the tutors on the course are ‘amazing’ and have
supported her throughout college, offering regular feedback
on her work and giving constructive advice. She says: “The
course has given me plenty of opportunities, including work
experience and building my confidence for the future.”
