Meet our students
Euan Henry
Jennifer has several years of experience working within
science education and special educational needs. At a
young age, Jennifer served for 4 years in Her Majesty’s
Royal Navy. Upon leaving, Jennifer returned to education,
attending college to complete a BTEC Level 3 in Applied
Science. She then went on to achieve a BSc Honours in
Forensic and Investigative Science from UCLAN before
progressing onto a Post Graduate Certificate in Education
from the University of Leeds.
Jennifer has a passion for imparting her knowledge to
students and helping them achieve the best possible results
during their study programme.
Euan will complete his level 3 Applied Science course this
year and he is on track to achieve the highest possible
grades. He has secured an offer to study BSc Biotechnology
at Edge Hill University.
He believes the course was instrumental to his success
and his goal of going to university: “Applied Science has
provided me with practical skills and applications of biology
and chemistry in the real world, which is more than enough
to prepare me for my next steps in education.” He enjoyed
the chance to complete a work placement, where he
shadowed laboratory technicians and students at Edge Hill
University’s bioscience laboratory.
