Level 1 Creative & Performing Arts
A one-year course introducing you to a broad range of Art & Design
and Performing Arts modules such as drawing, painting, printmaking,
textiles, photography, vocal skills, and dance styles.
Level 2 Art & Design
A one-year course covering a variety of artistic materials, techniques
and processes, allowing you to develop a broad skill set. These
include: drawing, painting, graphics, photography, and digital
manipulation.
Level 3 Art & Design
A two-year course strengthening your creative thinking and design
skills through the use of a wide variety of materials, processes
and techniques. These include: painting, textiles, printmaking,
graphics, photography, and time-based media.
Level 3 Art & Design Foundation Diploma
A one-year course which can be taken following the completion
of the Level 3 Art & Design course. You will fine tune your
skills in processes such as: drawing, painting, printmaking,
photography, graphics, and time-based media.
Direct entry onto Level 3 Art & Design Foundation Diploma
requires successful completion of a level 3 or A-Level course.

VOCATIONAL COURSES - ART & DESIGN
Progression opportunities
Following the completion of your Level 3 course, you will have
the opportunity to progress onto our HNC & HND in Applied
Arts, or our HNC & HND in Fine Art.
If you wish to progress onto university, as many of our
Art & Design students do, our knowledgeable tutors will
support you every step of the way. They can provide expert
guidance for completing UCAS applications and preparing
your portfolio for university interviews, as well as invaluable
advice about the specialisms and courses available at a
wide variety of universities.
