Students benefit from our close employer links with a variety
of local and national companies. We have welcomed guest
speakers into the college from several well-known employers
such as Siemens, Blue Beck, Barclays and the NHS as well
as smaller, local businesses such as Winsford Work Zone
and Culture Warrington.
Alumni
Previous IT apprentice Ryan Kenney has embarked upon an
exciting career with Stanley Black and Decker, travelling the
world to deliver pioneering CPD software.
Many students progress onto university, where there is an
abundance of courses allowing students to gain further
qualifications before entering employment.
Trips and visits
Students have recently visited the Arcade Club in Bury, a
multi-level gaming venue, to enhance the games platform
module of the course.
Facilities
You will be taught in our modern IT suites, keeping
up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry
developments. We are well-equipped with Apple Mac and
Windows computers, using the latest software. Students
will also be taught how to use advanced programmes such
as 3DS Max and Photoshop.
