WHY STUDY CREATIVE
DIGITAL MEDIA WITH US?
Industry links
During your course you will work to a variety of live projects,
such as editing social media footage for local businesses.
You will also have the chance to broaden your experience
by participating in national film competitions.
As part of your course you will carry out work placements
to help you develop your practical skills and gain a stronger
understanding of the industry. Work experience is varied and
could involve working on wedding photography, recording
footage for local businesses, or even working with football
clubs on their digital media communications.
You will also meet guest speakers who are professionals in
their field, as well as working with universities and higher
education institutions such as Edge Hill University and
Futureworks, to explore your future opportunities.
Alumni
Trips and visits
You will be able to take part in exciting trips throughout your
course, including visits to the Bradford Media Museum,
Warner Bros Studio tour and a residential trip to Stratford-
Upon-Avon.
Facilities
At the college we have a comprehensive selection of
facilities and equipment, including DSLR cameras, a green
screen studio and Mac suites featuring industry standard
software. Our high quality facilities contribute to a first-rate
learning experience.
Our talented students have progressed onto various
destinations after completing their course. Many have
completed the HNC, or gone onto universities such as
Keele, Salford, and Edge Hill University. Previous Level
3 student Daniel Lapworth has secured a place on the
college’s HND in Creative Media, and looks forward to
developing his knowledge and taking the next step towards
his future career in the media and film industry.
