VOCATIONAL COURSES - CREATIVE & DIGITAL MEDIA
Danny Rimmer, Teaching & Learning Manager and Creative
Media Lecturer, studied Media at Lancaster University before
undertaking his teaching qualifications. Danny has now
been teaching at Warrington & Vale Royal College for over
12 years and loves to encourage his students to produce
outstanding work and realise their creative potential.
Danny’s favourite part of teaching at the college is:
“inspiring students and helping them realise what they are
capable of.” He particularly enjoys teaching students how
to create content for real clients and watching them rise to
the challenge.
Former Weaverham High School student James Latham
has gained a wealth of experience during his Level 3
Creative Media Production and has secured a place on the
college’s HNC in Creative Media.
The practical activities James has undertaken throughout
the course, which include creating music videos, adverts
and short films, have allowed him to develop an array
of new skills. James states: “I have developed many
transferable skills in pre- and post-production, which will be
invaluable for future courses and employment.”
