NEEDS & DISABILITIES
Our Additional Learning Support Team are here to help you maximise your potential,
remove any obstacles to learning and work closely with you to organise support so
that you can progress to the next stage in your career.
We encourage students to disclose any disability or learning difficulty prior to
enrolment, so that we can make arrangements to support your learning ready for
when you begin your course.
You may be referred to our Additional Learning Support Team through your school,
Tutor, Progress Coach or Senior Tutor, or you may self-refer.
Support may include:
• A Learning Facilitator to provide in-class support
• An English or Maths tutor
• An assessment for exam access arrangements
• 1:1 specialist intervention/teaching
• Assistive technologies and software.
We offer:
• Pre-enrolment visits and opportunities to
meet with tutors and support staff
• Bespoke transition visits throughout the
year to help students adjust to the college
campuses
• Autism friendly enrolment sessions.
