Level 1 Electrical Installation
A one-year course designed to teach you the basic practical
elements and theoretical elements of Electrical Installation. Modules
include: fundamental safe working practices, site preparation, and
electrical installation wiring and termination.
Level 2 Electrical Installation
A one-year course furthering your theoretical and practical
knowledge. You will cover working safely and effectively, principles
of electro-technology, electrical principles and installation. As well
as developing practical skills you will be introduced to scientific and
mathematical concepts.
Level 3 Electrical Installation
A one- year course covering a range of high-level modules
including principles of electrical science, fault diagnosis and
rectification, inspection, testing and commissioning and electrical
systems design.
Level 3 Construction & The Built
Environment - New for 2021
A two-year course which is ideal for you if you would like to
pursue a career in construction management.
Irrespective of your GCSE results, most students will start
at level 1 and learn basic skills before progressing through
the levels.

industry. There is a demand for newly
trained electricians and an abundance of job
opportunities available.
As you progress through your career, you
could move into design engineering, project
management, consultancy work or training. You
could even start up your own business and be
your own boss!

VOCATIONAL COURSES - ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
Progression opportunities
After successfully completing your course, you will have
the necessary skills to progress into employment within
the industry. Alternatively, you may wish to progress onto
further study and undertake our HNC or HND in Electrical
& Electronic Engineering.
