Themed events
Here at Warrington & Vale Royal College, we run a new
theme, cause or awareness event every few weeks. We
encourage you to understand and talk about a range of
different issues, so we arrange many activities to tie in with
special themes. For instance, last year we ran an Age UK Tea
Dance Event which consisted of Christmas craft activities, a
pantomime, a dance and a buffet.
COLLEGE LIFE
Volunteering & work placements
We have close links with a number of organisations and are
able to provide you with valuable volunteering and placement
opportunities to help you gain real world experience.
We can help you find the perfect volunteering position for
you, whether that’s supporting local sports clubs, working
at community allotments or helping out at food banks.
Volunteering is a very rewarding experience and will look
fantastic on your CV and future applications.
Student Council
Our Student Council recruits individuals who act as
representatives for their fellow students.
Members of the Student Council get involved in various
projects including organising charity events and working
with college management, contributing their ideas to
important college decisions.
Student Ambassadors
Every year we appoint talented students as Student
Ambassadors, who assist the college’s lively marketing
team with delivering exciting events both on and off the
college campuses.
Student Ambassadors can be asked to help out with
various events including open evenings, taster days
and school careers events.
