There are sixteen LEDs at the front of the PIM, arranged as part of the normal 4 x 4<br />

matrix used on other <strong>PC3000</strong> modules.<br />

Assuming that LED 1 is top left when the board is in a rack, and working from left to<br />

right, and from top to bottom, the LED functions are as follows:<br />

2 SIBUS communications active Green<br />

3 Module run indication Green<br />

4 Diagnostic LED Green<br />

5 Channel 1 count input active Yellow<br />

6 Channel 1 Phase B count input<br />

8 Channel 2 Phase B count input<br />

Note that the LED is on if the logic level at the I/O connector is high, i.e. the default<br />

inactive state. Thus these modules, if nothing is connected to them, will have all the<br />

LEDs illuminated.<br />

Compatibility<br />

Modules must be fitted with firmware E103 or later. They will not work with any<br />

earlier versions which are only compatible with earlier versions of hardware.<br />

The module may be used with IOC firmware version V1.02 or later version.<br />
