<strong>PC3000</strong> - <strong>Installation</strong> Guide<br />
The Racking System<br />
Caution<br />
Special care should be taken when removing or fitting connectors to<br />
Analogue Input modules. These modules have temperature sensors<br />
which are located at the edge of the modules’ circuit board. Always<br />
ensure that the connector is aligned correctly and is parallel to the<br />
circuit board before pushing fully home. Failure to observe caution<br />
could result in damage to the temperature sensors.<br />
Cable<br />
Wiring to the <strong>PC3000</strong> is by means of captive screws within the detachable connector<br />
and module fascia. The wiring capacity is:<br />
1 x 2.0mm2 (14 awg)<br />
or2 x 1.3mm2 (16 awg)<br />
Minimum cable size is 0.2mm2 (24 awg). The recommended conductor size is 1mm2 .<br />
All wiring may be fixed (strain-relieved) to the connector/fascia assembly by the<br />
cable tie fixing points provided.<br />
Rack earthing<br />
Caution<br />
Excessive force to clamp wires is not necessary. Maximum torque is<br />
0.4Nm.<br />
