Lithium cells contain corrosive materials that ultimately decompose and form
harmless substances. The reaction products are inorganic and do not represent a
danger to the environment once the decomposition process has terminated.
Dispose of used batteries promptly. Keep away from children. Do not disassemble
and do not dispose of in fire.
Battery condition
A new battery has a terminal voltage of 3.6V. The PC3000 Function Block Library
contains a Function Block, PcsSTATE, which includes a parameter for
'Battery_Cond', which reports the state of the battery. The following states are
reported:
Voltage 'Battery_Cond'
3.6->3.0V GOOD
3.0->2.8V LOW
