ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE DEGREE<br />
The courses listed in the Associate of Science<br />
Degree are comprised of a comprehensive list of<br />
job skills needed to enter the automotive field.<br />
The skills developed during class will enhance<br />
the student’s ability to complete the industry<br />
recognized Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)<br />
Certification Tests A-1 through A-8, Automotive<br />
Technician. The Degree is designed to prepare<br />
an individual for transfer and/or entry-level<br />
employment as an Automobile Technician.<br />
To acquire the Associate of Science Degree in<br />
Automotive Technology, it is necessary to complete<br />
the graduation requirements of the <strong>College</strong> along<br />
with the following courses with a grade of “C” or<br />

Achievement are comprised of a comprehensive<br />
list of job skills needed to enter the automotive<br />
field. The skills developed during class will<br />
enhance the student’s ability to complete<br />
the industry recognized Automotive Service<br />
Excellence (ASE) Certification Tests A-1 through<br />
A-8, Automotive Technician. The Certificate is<br />
designed to prepare an individual for entrylevel<br />
employment as an Automobile Technician.<br />
To acquire the Certificate of Achievement in<br />
General Automotive Service, it is necessary to<br />

General Service Technician<br />
The course required in this certificate compiles<br />
a comprehensive list of job related skills needed<br />
to acquire general automotive skills. The skills<br />
acquired during class will prepare an individual<br />
for entry-level employment as a light duty<br />
service technician such as a Lube Technician or<br />
positions with a franchised repair facility.<br />
To acquire the Certificate of Achievement in<br />
General Service Technician, it is necessary to<br />
