Author’s Biography
Deny Willy is currently studying for PhD in Graduate School of Knowledge Science,
Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Previously, He studied as a
research student at Design History and Culture Lab. Graduate School of Design,
Kyushu University, Japan. He obtained M.Arch in History, Theory & Criticism of
Architecture from Institute of Technology, Bandung, Indonesia. His interests are in
design creativity and indigenous design.
Yukari Nagai is currently a Professor at the Graduate School of Knowledge
Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. She received her
PhDs from Chiba University, Japan (2002) and University of Technology, Sydney
(2009). Her research areas of interest are design creativity, design knowledge, and
creative cognition.
Himasari Hanan is a Head of History, Theory and Criticism in Architecture
Research Group, School of Architecture, Planning and Policy Development, Institut
Teknologi Bandung. She received her Doctoral Degree from Faculty of Landscape
Planning, Kassel University, Germany and her Master Degree from Katholieke
Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. She obtained her Bachelor from Department of
Architecture of Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. Her research interests are
urban design, history of modern urban architecture and creative industries.
