Frequency of Availability of Child Health Services: Immunization Services
Table 3.8 shows the frequency of availability of immunizations among facilities that
offer routine immunization services for children.
Overall, even if the routine immunization services are available in facilities, they are
rarely offered on all five days in the week.
While polio and DPT/pentavalent vaccinations are administered almost every working
day of the week in one in three (39 percent) facilities that offer vaccination services,
vaccinations against measles and tuberculosis are only available all five days in 6 percent and
4 percent, respectively, of facilities offering routine child vaccination services.
