With regard to the availability of drugs for the treatment of TB, nearly two-thirds (61<br />

percent) of the facilities visited that provide services for the diagnosis and/or treatment of TB<br />

had first-line treatment available (81 percent of health centers). Injectable streptomycin was<br />

available in only one out of four facilities.<br />
