Among foreign words, mainly Uzbek and Tajik, and partially, Turkmen
and Russian borrowings are found in the QAD.
The work deals with the basic lexical features of borrowings.
The tendency to the creation of new onomasiologic structures is notable
in the QAD. This is due to the dropping of certain elements in the
structure of the nominate. This can be viewed as an economical means of
expressing an idea, which underlies the formation of new meanings in the
dialect. The following instances of compression of thought can be singled
out: 1. transformation of a word comination into a single word (kulsa< fi
kulli sÁ÷atin “always”); 2. Dropping of one component from the syntactic
