Among foreign words, mainly Uzbek and Tajik, and partially, Turkmen<br />

and Russian borrowings are found in the QAD.<br />

The work deals with the basic lexical features of borrowings.<br />

The tendency to the creation of new onomasiologic structures is notable<br />

in the QAD. This is due to the dropping of certain elements in the<br />

structure of the nominate. This can be viewed as an economical means of<br />

expressing an idea, which underlies the formation of new meanings in the<br />

dialect. The following instances of compression of thought can be singled<br />

out: 1. transformation of a word comination into a single word (kulsa< fi<br />

kulli sÁ÷atin “always”); 2. Dropping of one component from the syntactic<br />

construction (hÝÖã
