Then a learner has to go through all the stages of learning again and tries to find an<br />
answer to a new problematic question. These four stages are like a signpost in the process of<br />
reflective practice. Experienced professionals often act automatically and don’t take sequence<br />
into consideration. These stages are important when trying to find the most suitable and<br />
effective methods for activities only for a learner who has just started learning in practice.<br />
Practice organization at Vytautas Magnus University<br />
Practice is a constituent part of the process of learning. Practice is studies led by a<br />
practice supervisor (tutor who is a university teacher and mentor who works at a practice<br />
place where a student’s knowledge, skills and abilities are tested through practical activities.<br />
The order for practice implementation is set by the practice regulations.<br />

The following practice types are found in a bachelor study programme: cognitive<br />

Cognitive practice helps to form general understanding about future professional<br />
activity. Qualification practice helps to develop practical skills at a real work place and to<br />
assess one’s professional opportunities. Pre-diploma practice emphasises analysis of real<br />
work situations when preparing one’s dissertation.<br />
