It will introduce the students to key conceptsand perspectives within the field of intercultural communication, with an emphasis on communication and postcolonial theory. It will alsodescribe and discuss in issues related to religion and power in intercultural communication. The course will enable the students tobetter understand and participate in intercultural communication.StudiekravTo complete the course, the student have to:- Write a book report 1200-2000 words from a limited part of the course syllabus. The topic of the report is selected in cooperation withthe professor and is graded pass/fail.- Participate in the evaluation of the curriculum and/or of the learning environment, if such evaluation is stipulated in the relevant termAvsluttende vurderingTo gain credit for the course the student must fulfil the requirements and a take-home examination (1 week).
