The ancient city of the Roman province of Lusitania
is the best and largest set of Roman ruins in Portugal.
The most valuable and best preserved national
archaeological find impresses with its size and beauty.
A city equipped with thermal baths, amphitheatre,
forum and aqueduct, nobody remains indifferent to the
elaborate and artistic pavements of the noble houses,
with emphasis, obviously, on the Casa dos Repuxos.
They extend over a vast area, showing all the traces
of a city of great dimensions and which has only been
partially excavated.
