Novos Olhares

Entre os casarios e as estreitas ruelas recheadas de
simbolismo, as Aldeias do Xisto são um retrato viável
da história do interior do nosso país. Atualmente já
com poucos habitantes de uma forma geral, algumas
delas até já inabitadas, as aldeias são vistas como
um refúgio para muitos turistas que pretendem
visitar a nossa região. Ao longo do nosso país estão
referenciadas variadas Aldeias de Xisto, sendo que
quase metade delas estão localizadas na Serra da
Lousã, fazendo deste município um dos principais
motores deste tipo de turismo emergente.

Between the houses and the narrow alleys full of
symbolism, the Schist Villages are a viable portrait of
the history of the interior of our country. Currently
with few inhabitants in general, some of them already
uninhabited, the villages are seen as a refuge for many
tourists who want to visit our region. Throughout our
country there are several Aldeias de Xisto, almost half
of which are located in the Serra da Lousã, making this
municipality one of the main engines of this type of
emerging tourism.
