In the border area of Serra do Bussaco that separates Mealhada from Mortágua, it is possible to find the Sula Mill and its magnificent viewpoint over all that surrounding full of natural features and that so well define the region of Coimbra. Besides this natural component, Moinho de Sula also carries a dose of history, as it was a command post for General Robert Craufurd, commander of the Luso-British troops which defended the northern flank of the mountain, in 1810, during the Battle of Buçaco. 169
