Novos Olhares

While the Mondego is king and lord of the
Coimbra Region, there are other rivers that also
have their place of prominence in the geography
of some of its municipalities. In Vila Nova de
Poiares, the river Rio Alva is also an important
natural patrimony for the beauty of its bed,
as well as for the margins that throughout the
municipality constitute a visual aspect worthy of
admiration. Vila Nova de Poiares, following the
general line of the region, has in itself, besides
others, a huge natural patrimony that has all the
potential to be discovered.
