O Templo Ecuménico Universalista situa-se no topo da montanha do Parque Biológico da Serra da Lousã, em Miranda do Corvo. Inaugurado em 2016, é uma iniciativa da Fundação Assistência, Desenvolvimento e Formação Profissional, dedicado à defesa da Liberdade, Igualdade e Fraternidade e que procura constituir-se como uma peça dinâmica e significativa na criação de pontes entre as religiões e na difusão de uma cultura de paz. O Templo faz parte de um Trivium que integra, ainda, o Parque Biológico da Serra da Lousã e o Ecomuseu Espaço da Mente. The Universalist Ecumenical Temple is located on top of the mountain in the Biological Park of Serra da Lousã, in Miranda do Corvo. Inaugurated in 2016, it is an initiative of the Assistance, Development and Vocational Training Foundation, dedicated to the defence of Freedom, Equality and Fraternity, and seeks to become a dynamic and significant part of building bridges between religions and spreading a culture of peace. The Temple is part of a Trivium that also includes the Biological Park of Serra da Lousã and the Espaço da Mente Ecomuseum. 261
O centro do conjunto, o Templo, tem como base um quadrilátero do qual se projeta uma pirâmide com 13,4 metros, invocando a altura do Templo de Salomão, construído no século IX a.C em Jerusalém e aludindo ao Antigo Egipto e a todo o seu legado cultural e religioso. 0s cantos estão orientados para os quatro pontos cardeais: norte, sul, este e oeste. Nas fachadas, destacam-se três palavras e três letras maiúsculas: Bondade (B), Moral (M) e Verdade (V). 262 The centre of the complex, the Temple, has a quadrilateral base from which a 13.4 metre pyramid projects, recalling the height of Solomon’s Temple, built in the 9th century BC in Jerusalem and alluding to Ancient Egypt and its entire cultural and religious legacy. The corners are orientated towards the four cardinal points: north, south, east and west. On the façades, three words and three capital letters stand out: Goodness (B), Moral (M) and Truth (V).
