Artistic ceramics, inspired by traditional Portuguese ceramics of the 17th and 18th centuries, are the calling card of the handicrafts of Condeixense. However, alongside this more industrialised craft, there is a rudimentary craft throughout the municipality, which is surprising for the variety and simplicity of the materials used, as well as the skill and ancestral techniques of the craftsmen who make it. 139

Sobre isto existe ainda a lenda que envolve uma peripécia de uma pastora e que desde esse dia, passou a ser uma região farta de água, tornando Alcabideque em sinónimo de “olhos de água” e de “água de Deus”.
