southeast-south sector of the horizon line.
Existing Sensitivity of View
5.8.29. The condition of the existing seaside amenities along the promenade is good.
The dense arrangement of groyne structures and maritime signage in the
foreground and middle distance of the view and the visibility of Sizewell
power station in distant views southwards along the coast combine to reduce
the quality of the view.
5.8.30. The viewpoint illustrates those views primarily available to local residents
and tourists in the area. In consideration of these factors, the sensitivity of
the receptor to change arising from the proposed development is judged to be
