Since the number <strong>of</strong> pole <strong>of</strong> the XYZ <strong>winding</strong> set is three times that <strong>of</strong> the ABC<br />

<strong>winding</strong> set, the frequency <strong>of</strong> the mutual induct<strong>an</strong>ce for the XYZ <strong>winding</strong> set should be<br />

three times that <strong>of</strong> the ABC <strong>winding</strong> set.<br />

3.7 Model <strong>of</strong> the Dual Stator Winding Machine<br />

Based on the magnetic circuit theory, a full model <strong>of</strong> the <strong>induction</strong> machine c<strong>an</strong> be<br />

developed. The reason it is called a full model is that this model is not based on <strong>an</strong>y<br />

assumptions <strong>of</strong> <strong>stator</strong> <strong>winding</strong>s or rotor bars distribution. Hence all the harmonics are<br />

included into the model.<br />
