9.6 Conclusions<br />

The high perform<strong>an</strong>ce control scheme <strong>of</strong> the <strong>dual</strong>-<strong>winding</strong> <strong>induction</strong> generator with<br />

two series connected ac-dc PWM boost rectifiers has been outlined. The steady state<br />

<strong>an</strong>alysis exploring the influences <strong>of</strong> the main flux saturation <strong>an</strong>d operational boundaries<br />

under various dc output voltages have been set forth. Based on the input-output<br />

linearization technique, a control scheme is proposed to regulate the dc output voltages.<br />

The controller design methodology based on the Butterworth method has been described.<br />

Simulation <strong>an</strong>d experimental results are provided to validate the <strong>an</strong>alysis <strong>an</strong>d control<br />

system design methodology adopted.<br />
