7.4 Conclusions<br />

Based on the steady state machine model in the complex variable form, the steady<br />

state <strong>an</strong>alysis <strong>of</strong> the <strong>dual</strong> <strong>stator</strong> <strong>winding</strong> <strong>induction</strong> machine to explore the operability<br />

regimes <strong>of</strong> the machine under const<strong>an</strong>t V/Hz control scheme has been presented in this<br />

chapter. The relationship between the slip frequencies <strong>of</strong> two <strong>stator</strong> <strong>winding</strong> sets <strong>an</strong>d the<br />

power contributions from each <strong>winding</strong> set have been clearly shown by the simulation<br />

results. The operating conditions for minimizing copper loss have also been determined.<br />
