given in Section 3.4.<br />

3.7.1.2 Stator flux linkage in the ABC <strong>winding</strong> set due to XYZ <strong>winding</strong> currents. The<br />

two <strong>stator</strong> <strong>winding</strong> sets have dissimilar numbers <strong>of</strong> poles. Hence the mutual induct<strong>an</strong>ces<br />

between the <strong>stator</strong> <strong>winding</strong> sets are zero, which me<strong>an</strong>s that these two <strong>stator</strong> <strong>winding</strong> sets<br />

are naturally decoupled. The only possible coupling between these two <strong>winding</strong> sets<br />

comes from the leakage induct<strong>an</strong>ce. A pro<strong>of</strong> has been given clearly in [1.10] that even the<br />

leakage induct<strong>an</strong>ce coupling doesn't exist. Since the two <strong>stator</strong> <strong>winding</strong> set are fully<br />

decoupled, the <strong>stator</strong> flux linkage in the ABC <strong>winding</strong> set due to the XYZ <strong>winding</strong><br />

currents is always zero.<br />
