17. Between stations, stop position, figure 36. - In instances<br />

<strong>of</strong> manual control action to stop the drive, th-: equipment<br />

assumes positions and pressure fluid is ported as indicated<br />

by the diagram. Auxiliary pump displacement is vented<br />

to tank. Valve (31) is depressed and pressure line (41) is<br />

ported to line (55), around valve spool (25) and line (51) to<br />

tank.<br />

shown by the diagrams, have performance characteristics or<br />

(a) Valve (56) is the auxiliary pump relief valve.<br />

Chamber (57) is directly connected to the auxiliary<br />

pumppressure line. The pressure within<br />

this chamber acts to overcome the spring<br />

setting <strong>of</strong> the valve and port the auxiliary<br />

pump displacement to tank through line (53).<br />

(b ) A restriction has been placed in the relief<br />

valve operating line to prevent pressure surges<br />

which maycause the relief valve to flutter.<br />
