Loosen right hand thread nut 220718-7 and left hand<br />

thread nut 271727-9, then rota te clevis screw 271727-8<br />

to the desired position shownon figure 39. The adjustment<br />

is made when the unit is in the latched position.<br />

28. Cam t i mi ns; Link adjustment. - The earn timing link<br />

adjustment is located at point "D" as shown on figure 39. The<br />

adjustment is made when the bell crank assembly is in place<br />

and the interlock roller is in the notch <strong>of</strong> the interlock<br />

switch cam.<br />

Loosen right hand thread nut 220718-7 and left hand<br />

thread nut 271727-9, then rotate clevis screw 271727-8<br />

until the proper clearance, as shownon figure 41 is<br />

obtained between the upper and lower rollers and the<br />

timing cams.<br />

29. Control link adjustment. - This subassembly (dr . no.<br />

271717) is completely adjusted before i t Ls installed in the<br />

A-end.<br />

Assemble in place the control rod 271717-6, retainers<br />

271718-7 and 271718-9, with spring 271718-10,<br />

washer 271717-5, nut 271730-6 and cotter pin 196749-8.<br />

Then insert in tube 271718-1 and screw the retainer<br />

nut 271718-4 in place. Gradually screw rod retainer<br />

271717-7 until all lost motion between it and retainer<br />

271718-9 is taken up. Whencompletely assembled<br />

install in the A-end.
