is about 0.5 mile wide and has typical surface
stream features. As the valley is traversed, the
road ascends the western wall back up to the
Mitchell Plain near State Road 337, offering
views of many of the geomorphic features in
the area (wet stream, alluviated valley, sinkhole
plain, and upland to the west).

At State Road 337, turn right (northwest)
and go about 0.75 miles to the intersection of
State Road 337 and County Road 500N. Turn
right (west). Do not turn on County Road 500E,
which is near at hand also.
Continue on 500N across the extreme
western fringe of the eastern Mitchell Plain
