Group completed first circle trip
going down the first five drops then
out via difficult climb-ups (bypassing
fourth and fifth pits), coming
out at the top of the fourth drop in
a large room. Hammered through
and explored approximately 200
feet of virgin cave heading towards
Dible Knible Cave. Group set 15
survey stations (E4 to E18). Allnighter
Trip was 13½ hours long.
Trip #32 May 23–24, 1992 – Survey Trip

Group entered cave with three survey
teams (Tony and Greg; George
and Noel; Danny, Ron, and Joe).
The group focused on finishing the
route that bypassed the fourth and
fifth drops via climbs. All teams
tied into each other’s survey during
the trip, finishing off by connecting
into the KD passage. The multiteam
combined effort netted 91
surveyed stations (HI1 to HI12,
E19 to E27, EX1 to EX2, EO1 to
EO7, EI1 to EI3, J1 to J11, JA1 to
JA3, JB1 to JB2, JK1 to JK2, -L1 to
-L11, O1 to O17, -O1 to -O3, X1
to X2, XX1 to XX7). Trips ranged
from 12 to 16 hours long.
Trip #33 July 3–4, 1992 – Survey Trip #20

Group entered cave with three
survey teams again (Danny, Henry,
and Steve S. ; Greg and Kevin;
Steve C., Keith, and Kirk). Danny’s
group worked on a technical climb
to a blind alcove then surveyed
an upper level passage with side
leads. Greg’s group surveyed off
the Dressing Room, climbing up
through breakdown near M10 to
discover an upper level shale room
with a nice formation area. This
area was complex and confusing
with multiple leads. Steve’s group
surveyed a couple of loop passages
off the H survey. The multi-team
combined effort netted 52 surveyed
stations (Z1 to Z10, ZA1 to ZA2,
ZB1 to ZB7, M1 to M10, MN1 to
MN4, MC1, N1 to N11, NA1 to
NA7). Trips ranged from 12 to 14
hours long.

1992 NSS Pre-Convention Camp
cave trip. Wetsuit, photo, survey
and tourist trip. The group completed
a tourist trip down six drops
and to the upstream terminus,
where Marc photographed some
large blind cavefish. Joe then led
Marion, Shawna, Teresa, Vico and
Marc to the downstream bitter end
then out of the cave after a 16-hourlong
trip. Ron and Danny surveyed
several shots in the downstream
section (Y survey), and a side lead
above the sixth pit (HZ Survey).
Tony and Greg surveyed 15 stations
(H survey) in a possible in-feeder
