North and South, and so you have the Crown<br />

<strong>of</strong> the North and the Crown <strong>of</strong> the South. In<br />

all Temples you find these were built in this form,<br />

the original being the House <strong>of</strong> Earth as a square,<br />

and the House <strong>of</strong> Eternity as a square, in the<br />

Stellar Mythos, surmounted by a Triangle. This<br />

again was represented in the formation <strong>of</strong> Amenta<br />

as a double square, the result being that as all<br />

Temples were built on this plan it did not change<br />

its form when the Cults changed ;<br />

for in the<br />

seven Lesser Mysteries and the ten Greater<br />

Mysteries you have this form <strong>of</strong> all Temples, and<br />

your Lodge is on the same plan,<br />

We do not have the Cubes in our Lodges, although<br />

But in Irish Lodges a Cube is in the Centre<br />

<strong>of</strong> the Lodge as an Altar, on which is placed<br />

the Warrant, Book <strong>of</strong> Constitutions, Working<br />

Tools, etc., and around it are stationed the three<br />

" Lesser Lights," which represent the Egyptian<br />

Primary Trinity. Thus the Irish Lodges retain<br />
