Bro. Hobbs, in a letter to <strong>The</strong> Freemason, states<br />

that I speak derisively <strong>of</strong> Thomas Payne and others<br />

who attribute the origin <strong>of</strong> the Craft as Druidical.<br />

Let me state here distinctly I did nothing<br />

<strong>of</strong> the<br />

kind. What I said was that Payne and others<br />

stated that these old Druids worshipped the Sun,
