Note.—You will see that the application for<br />

membership is to work at the Trade. This, you<br />

will perceive, is another pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> my contention<br />

as regards Operatives, and the distinction between<br />

them and the Speculatives.<br />

To test a man by the triangle in the blue Lodge<br />

they have a frame as here shown :—<br />

But to test a man in the arch or red Lodge the<br />

frame is curved, and the man goes through it.<br />

You will find this cut in stone also as a design<br />

in church windows, etc.<br />

In the 3rd degree the frames have 3 sides.<br />

In the 4th degree the frames have 4 sides.<br />

In the 5th degree the frames have 5 sides.<br />

In the 6th degree<br />

the frames have 6 sides.<br />

In the 7th degree the frames have 7 sides.
