<strong>of</strong> Horus was assigned a place. <strong>The</strong>se are the<br />

children <strong>of</strong> Horus who stand on the Papyrus plant,<br />

or Lotus, born <strong>of</strong> water, in the new Kingdom<br />

that was founded for the Father by Horus the<br />

Son. Two <strong>of</strong> these children, Tuamutef and<br />

Kabhsenuf, are called the two fishes (Ritual,<br />

ch. 113), and elsewhere the followers <strong>of</strong> Horus<br />

are the fishers or fishermen. Horus was teacher<br />

<strong>of</strong> the Lesser Mysteries in his first advent, and<br />

teacher <strong>of</strong> the Greater Mysteries in his second<br />

advent. And this is the reason why we find Four<br />

Cardinal Points in the Stellar Cult, as well as in<br />

the Solar, although<br />

it has been <strong>of</strong>ten overlooked<br />

by Egyptologists. But when Shu " '<br />

Heavens<br />

lifted up the<br />

(which I have already explained), the<br />

Cardinal Points, East and West, were added to<br />

the attributes <strong>of</strong> Horus, as God <strong>of</strong> the East and<br />

West, as well as North and South, and the four<br />

Brothers were assigned to these points. <strong>The</strong>se<br />

were called Brothers in the Stellar Cult and<br />

Children in the Solar. <strong>The</strong>y were four out <strong>of</strong><br />

the divine circle <strong>of</strong> twelve which was established<br />

first in the Stellar Cult, and in Ritual, ch. 30,<br />

they are referred to "as being on the side Lord<br />

<strong>of</strong> Horus," i.e. with him in his youth, or earthly<br />

career.<br />

This refers to the resurrection as it was ren-<br />

dered in the Eschatology. Thus when Horus rose<br />

again upon the Mount, he was accompanied by
