I created a ‘Listen<strong>in</strong>g page’ <strong>and</strong> added a listen<strong>in</strong>g track with questions about Job<br />

Centre Plus, which was relevant to a learner who had recently been made redundant<br />

(see Figure 3).<br />

She then responded by add<strong>in</strong>g a video about how to make a good impression <strong>in</strong> a<br />

job <strong>in</strong>terview (see Figure 4). She created <strong>and</strong> added some questions based on that<br />

video which utilised her IT skills <strong>and</strong> her critical listen<strong>in</strong>g skills, <strong>and</strong> was personally<br />

motivat<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
