LOCAL DESCRIPTION
Local Range: Mixed Urban or Built-up Land is mapped at Yorktown Village and in the vicinity
of Yorktown Battlefield at Moore House and Hickory Hill.
Classification Comments: Mixed Urban or Built-up Land is used to map areas where
individual Anderson level II land uses cannot be separated at mapping scale. It includes areas
that could be classed as Residential or as Other Urban or Built-up Land. This map class is equal
to the Anderson et al. (1976) Level II unit 15, Mixed Urban or Built-up Land.
