In this study unit we discuss the marriage of a minor. Strictly speaking, the
marriage of a minor forms part of the previous study unit, which dealt
with the legal requirements for a valid marriage. However, since students
often find the section on the marriage of a minor difficult to understand,
we decided to discuss it in a separate study unit.
